Frida Cooper is a ceramicist working from a small studio in Manchester, UK, producing hand-thrown and handmade stoneware pots. With a longstanding fascination for design, functionality, and the role of objects in everyday life, Frida creates minimal, utilitarian ceramics intended for daily use.
Their work centres around the idea of bringing people together, making functional pieces for the table that celebrate the rituals of eating, drinking, and sharing good company. Using natural glazes and simple, honest forms, they often leave areas of bare clay exposed, highlighting the raw beauty and tactile quality of the material.
Each piece is thoughtfully made to be lived with and enjoyed, an invitation to slow down, enjoy small moments, and find beauty in the everyday.
